Pre Work Out Boost

I am not what one might call a gym rat, but my relationship with the gym has evolved over the years into a friendship. I enjoyed going to weekly TRX, Super Sculpt, and Butts and Gutts group fitness classes. I never saw myself as a do-it-yourself gym goer with a pre-workout shake in hand.

When MRI Surge pre-workout formula came across my desk, I was a little skeptical. Many of the ingredients in pre workout formulas, that promise to pump energy through your veins and protein in your blood, are often unknown chemicals.

I decided to give it a shot because MRI is marketed as an all-natural and stimulant free pre-workout that provides optimal training conditions by supporting blood flow, energy, stamina, focus and reduced muscle damage.

Pre Work Out How To

The instructions advised to mix one scoop (in cup provided) of pre workout with 8 ounces of water. I poured a little less than what the instructions called for to play it safe. At the end of the workday, I drank the mixture and drove straight from the office to the gym. While en route, the formula kicked in and I began to feel pins and needles throughout my extremities that resulted in a feeling of itchiness. This went away, however, and once I got to the gym I felt energized throughout my training.

The next day I mixed only a half of a scoop into water and headed to the gym. This was a much better portion for my body. I did not feel the tingling sensation but I experienced the stamina I needed to complete my sets.

Pros: All natural pre workout formula, provides indicated energy benefits

Cons: Not one size fits all. You may have to adjust your portion to your particular body.
