According to Tel Aviv University’s Stanley Steyer School of Health Professions at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, a simple aerobic walking routine is just as effective at alleviating lower back pain as the equipment utilized in rehab clinics. The researchers studied 52 patients with lower back pain; the first group underwent a typical clinic-based program while the second group completed a six-week walking program. The result? Walking two to three days weekly from 20 minutes to 40 minutes provides the same pain relieving results, at zero dollars!
