On the Set

Celebrity makeup artist Kim Baker
first made waves at age 13, as a model with Elite Model Management. She took her first artistic notes from the king of tricolor eyes, Way Bandy. “Every woman—whether she’s fair or dark—has three tones,” says Baker. “I’m known for mixing foundations, and I love making women feel confident.”

Cynthia Bailey
Watch What Happens Live on Bravo TV

“Cynthia likes a heavy eye, and loves a lot of makeup. When I walk in the door, she says, ‘I want to be beat’—meaning, ‘Do it all.’ For this event we went for a dark foundation—NW45 by MAC—because Cynthia always wants to be contoured. I used Shimmer Brick eye shadow in Lilac Rose by Bobbi Brown and Powder Blush in Raizin by MAC. For her lips, I went with MAC lipstick in Paramount, followed with a clear crystal gloss.”

Danica Patrick
COPD Presentation on Capitol Hill

“Danica is a joy to work with because she lets you do your thing. Her skin is also amazing and perfectly clear. Danica drinks a lot of water! For this event, I used HD Invisible Cover Foundation by Make Up For Ever, followed by Sheer Finish Pressed Powder in Soft Sand by Bobbi Brown. On her eyes, I applied Blonde by Bobbi Brown. I also added little bit of the taupe and black. For her lips, I applied a nude lip with blush gloss.”

Hollywood hair stylist, David Babaii
enrolled in the school of Vidal Sassoon after a unfulfilling stint in hotel management. Babaii’s mother, a stylist and ‘70s legend in London, inspired him to follow the dream. “I have been known as the ‘King of Curl,’ especially bohemian beach curls. My goal is to make women look sexy, natural, and beautiful,” says Babaii.

Olivia Wilde
Premiere of Cowboys & Aliens

“I really wanted to try something different here. This pumped-up pom-pom ponytail started by applying IT&LY’S Pure Water Drops to her wet hair prior to blow drying. Next, I brushed her hair into a high ponytail. I placed additional clear plastic bands every two inches down the entire ponytail. To finish, I sprayed it with IT&LY’S Pure Hair Eco and tied a black satin ribbon around the base. This grabbed everyone’s attention.”

Nicole Kidman
2013 Grammys Red Carpet

“Nicole and I have a wonderful relationship that I treasure. We wanted to keep it simple but fun for the Grammys and show off her haircut. I first cut Nicole’s hair into a true blunt bob, so there were no layers. To keep control while cutting, I sprayed the hair with IT&LY HAIRFASHION’S 2-Phase Hydrashine. After the cut, I finished the hair with IT&LY’S Pure Texture Spray and a flat iron, and a light spritz of IT&LY’S Pure Definition Hair Spray. She looked stunning.”
