CC’d

When I first heard the terms “BB” and “CC” I completely ignored them. I was skeptical about spending a chunk of my precious cosmetics budget on a mystery product with a catchy name. But, when companies began sending CC creams to NEW YOU for review, I took the opportunity to give them a try. My conclusion you ask? Go with Dr. Lewinn by Kinerase, especially if you are new to CC’s. The product provides light coverage yet goes on completely sheer, and offers SPF 30 coverage.

The main complaint I hear from the CC critics (including some NEW YOU staff members who shall not be named) is that particular CCs they have tried feel cakey, and leave their skin feeling oily and sweaty. That may be the case for some brands, but not Dr. Lewinn by Kinerase. This product is fabulous for women with mature skin who want light coverage to complement their natural complexion.

I personally love this product for days I spend at the beach or outdoors, when I want to protect my skin but do not want to forgo coverage. I also love this CC as a base coat to apply after my primer and before my powder. It’s versatile, lightweight, inexpensive and fabulous.

I will admit, I have not explored BBs yet. Please feel free to leave your thoughts and suggestions on BBs and CC’s below. For those who are still a little lost in this alphabet craze, learn more about BBs and CCs from out daily tip.

Pros: Lightweight, confidence boosting coverage, sun protection, inexpensive.
Cons: I would list them if I had any, but none for this one!
